Cable, Pipe & Leak Detection has ten full service trucks that are on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our professional technicians have perfected the art of locating utilities and leaks.

Mario Gonzales heads the utility team with over 17 years of locating service. He has been trained in both public and private utility locating and is certified by Sand Diego Gas and Electric as well as Pacific Bell.. Aaron Buber and Richard Martinez also specialize in utility locating. Aaron has been with CPL since 2003 and has done many large projects including the San Diego Zoo and Camp Pendleton. Richard is one of our Ground Penetrating Radar and Concrete Scanning Specialist.

David Belus has been with the company for over 15 years and heads up a quality team of leak locators. Jake Hazelebach, John Bauer and Jose Chacon have over 45 combined years of experience as leak locators. No job is too complex for our team, whether its chilled water lines, heating lines or irrigation or domestic mains, these technicians have done it all. From ½” loops to 60” transfer pipes, CPL has the experience and personnel to solve even your most difficult problem. Jason Roan and Mike Swadner round out our team with their forte being slab leaks and camera inspection services.

Brad Belus is owner and field technician who spends much more time in the field than in the office. Through the last 17 years Brad has experienced every type of locate imaginable. Today, Brad is our only technician who handles cable fault locating.

CPL also has a great team in the office.  Ruth Hazelebach is the head dispatcher and has been with CPL for 14 years. Melissa Bailey is our Project Coordinator and plays an intricate part in setting up big utility locating jobs. Michelle Brady dispatches and heads up our Dig Alert portion of our locating services. Amanda Franklin is in charge of billing and our Account Receivables Department. Cheryl Mosier has been with CPL for over 20 years and oversees Contracts and Marketing and is valuable in keeping CPL a customer service oriented business. Lynne Lucas rounds out the team and is in charge of purchasing.
